We went on a Dr. Pepper discount Tuesday. It cost three dollars a person, and children two and under were free. We parked off site in what can only be described as an empty lot, for five dollars. Be ready to pay to park with cash. The State Fair offers parking, but it was more expensive. I would recommend with small children that you pack a ton of snacks, the ones little man wanted were over priced for what we got.
Little guy and I both enjoyed the free attractions for kids. The petting zoo does charge for food to feed the animals, but there is no charge for admission.
