Little Guy Links
Having a mom who plays first person shooter games, and blogs, a father who plays massive mutliplayer games, and does some web designing. It is no surpise to those around us that we have decided to teach Little Guy how to use the computer. Here are Little Guy and my favorite websites to play on.
Fisher Price
Simple beginner games. These games use familiar Fisher Price's characters that the kids see on toys and baby items.
Disney Jr
We love Disney Jr games. There are a bunch of different characters and it is easier than other websites for Little Guy to play on.
Nick Jr
Little Guy loves Max and Ruby, so we go here a lot. As a mom this one is not my favorite there are commercials that show before it takes you to the game page. I have to tell him not to click it is a commercial, and when he does click on the advertisements it takes him to safe web pages but ones meant for adults.
HIT Entertainment
With characters like Barney, Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, and Angelina Ballerina how can you go wrong? This site does usually take a little more Mommy help me! to navigate and show him how to play the games.
Sprout
A lot of the preschool games on Sprout and PBS Kids are the same. The difference for me is that there are not as many school age games on Sprout.
PBS Kids
With this website I have to make sure that he chooses the shows that are his age. The ones that are for his age/skills are Caillou, and Curious George. For now Super Why! is just to hard for him as well as some of the others, but I like that it will grow with him.
