Heritage Park 201 Ball St Grapevine Texas Heritage Park has a great history. The land was deeded to the city of Grapevine, and the school district for back taxes owed. The school district eventually deeded the property to the city. If that is not enough history, it was also the location of a basket making company for the cantaloupe farms in the area. Now Heritage Park has grown, and is a delightful place to hang out, eat a snack, and let your little one have fun. Heritage Park is a great park to get out and meet others. Every time I take Little Guy there is always other children for him to play with. There are two play areas one that is bigger that has a spider web like climbing ropes. The smaller one may not look like much, but Little Guy loves the "lily pad hoppers" that leads up to it. There is also swings next to the smaller play set. For the parents there is a ton of seating areas. The down side to this park is that there is not a fence, and it is on a busy street. This park is a nice one to visit, and don't forget to bring a snack. This place is somewhere your child will not be ready to leave for a while.
